Founder and CTO
Joseph Kolnik Founder and CTO. He is the inventor and developer of IB’s first product, the Burns 1401 Round. Joseph has worked as an Engineer/Scientist for over twelve years while holding R&D positions in the Less Lethal Industry as well as the Semiconductor Industry. Joseph is IB’s lead developer for the company’s next generation products. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science from, and has a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wyoming, and has worked closely with the Department of Energy and Los Alamos National Laboratories for his research in polymers and binders.
Operations Manager and Partner
Jim Greer is the Operations Manager and partner in the company. He brings over twenty years of Fortune 500 and mid-size corporate level experience to the company with facility project management, manufacturing planning engineer, and production positions in the Air Force, semiconductor industry, and energy and mineral processing industries. Jim possesses degrees in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Thermodynamics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an MBA from the University of Utah with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship.
Vice-president of Sales and Partner
Rod Wagner is the Vice-president of Sales and Partner at IB. Rod was born and raised in Southern California. Rod moved to Boise, Idaho to attend Boise State University and then worked for the largest independent insurance agency in the State as VP of Sales for 15 years, earning several high achievement sales awards. For the next 15 years, Rod went into the advertising business as VP of Sales and Marketing.
Sales & Business Development Director and Partner
Nina Bookout serves as IB’s Sales & Business Development Director. Nina manages client relationships, develops sales/marketing strategies and develops key business opportunities for the company. Nina attended Baylor University majoring in Business Marketing and Political Science. She brings 16 years of sales and consulting experience within the public safety arena; including the areas of strategic data communications planning, funding, marketing, and project management to work for IB.
